Our Story and Journey
I am Mohammad Rashid from Myanmar (Rohingya), (I exited my country on 31 December 2011 to Malaysia by boat, and on 7 July 2013, I come to Indonesia. 26 December 2013 by boat I went to Australia and the Australian government send me to a Nauru asylum seeker). I went out of refugee status in 2015, and after that, I get a job as a local housing cleaner in Nauru I got paid $AUD 18 per day, I worked cleaner for 6 months and then I was thinking to myself about starting a business construction. I registered my company (M.R Construction and M.R International) (Import). (M.R. stands for Mohammad Rashid, Myanmar Rohingya, and Muslim Refugee). Then I started construction with the local and Nauru government and my company was successful in the island and vehicle business too. I constructed lots of Basketball Courts, Buildings, Airport Fencing, and Double Story Office for the Deputy Minister of Justice and Border Control and I donated to the Nauru public and Miss Nauru and donated to the Rohingya people. I worked with (Nauru President and with the cabinet, Nauru Ministers, Parliament Members, Parliament Speakers, the Justice Department, Infrastructure Department, Finance Department, the Emergency and Fire Department, Judiciary Department, the Sports Department, and Education Department and with Eigigu Enterprise). (Nauru, Japan, Thailand, and Myanmar). I came to New Zealand on the 3 of March 2023, as Permanent Resident. Then I registered my company with the New Zealand government, M.R Construction NZ Limited Company, and M.R International NZ Limited Company.
